Clark Kent is going through a bit of a crisis.  He’s not sure what his job is anymore.  Perry White tries to explain that print news is dying, and being replaced by something different, but Clark loves the paper and doesn’t want things to change.

Economies need to change in order for progress to take place.  Sometimes that progress means that people lose jobs or at least lose comfortable routines.  This process is called creative destruction.  The creativity of entrepreneurs and producers makes some products and processes obsolete.   Whether it is buggy whip makers, encyclopedia salespeople, blacksmiths, or newspaper reporters, when the economy moves forward, some jobs get left behind.  That’s tough for those folks, but participants in the economy are made better off by the new and improved goods and services.  Internet news anyone?
