He contrasts the state of the U.S.S.R. with that of the U.S.A. To an outside observer, the data speak for themselves.
Wonder Woman is right to ask about the costs of Superman’s plan. When you make a choice there are, by definition costs. Are the costs of taking over the world worth the benefits, even if productivity and life expectancies rise? This is a question at the core of Jeremy Bentham’s utilitarianism. Is it ok for some to suffer if the greater good is made better off?
